Today my darling Anthony turns three. I can hardly believe it.
The sweetest little toddler is now a little boy. He’s mischievous and loud and so very, very boyish. He still says “I love you” a dozen times a day. With the hugs to back it up. And he’s the only one of my kids who really kisses me. A little cuddly boy who loves to run and yell and get into trouble but also to snuggle and read books and draw and explore. And eat. Yeah, the boy can eat.

Today he walked up to me and said, “Don’t just stand there gawking at me.” I was rather surprised, but surmised it must have come from a book. Sure enough, when I asked him, he said it was the book about the dwarf– he meant the dwarf from Rose Red and the Bear Prince. He loves reciting quotes. “No more Mister Nice Guy” is another of his favorites. It drives Bella crazy.

I could write and write and write and never get to the end of all the things I love about Anthony.

Happy birthday, Anthony.

He is such a little doll!! I started reading your blog when he was around six months old. All of your children are precious. Happy birthday Anthony!!

Happy birthday, Anthony!
I can’t get over how tiny *Bella* looks in that one picture.

Happy Birthday to Anthony! =D
It’s great to know that he loves words enough to be a “quoter” of funny lines, but I can imagine why an older sister would be driven crazy by the habit! LOL!
