I put Ben down on the play mat for the first time this week and he loved it.
He totally surprised us last night by playing there perfectly happy, lots of coos and gurgles and little laughs, batting at the rattles for almost an hour and a half while we were cooking and eating. I couldn’t believe how long he was content. He never lets me put him down for that long unless he’s sleeping. His sisters went over to chat with him quite often, but mostly he was thrilled to be able to connect with the rattles. Such a boy!
