10 pounds, 10 ounces! That’s three pounds up from his birth weight! I can’t believe it. Plus he’s grown more than an inch. (I’m not sure of the precise number.)
As far as the diaper rash, the doctor thinks it’s due to excessive pooping. (Upwards of ten times a day… Yeah, I’d say that’s excessive.) She’s instructed me to remove broccoli from my diet to see if that doesn’t bind him up some. Aargh… my favorite vegetable. The one green vegetable I can eat every single day without a problem. Well, Bene, for you I’ll give it up. And maybe someone else will eat those two luscious heads that Dom bought yesterday. And that lovely bag of broccoli slaw just waiting for dressing…. Well motherhood is full of crosses….
This was my first time behind the wheel of the car since the birth. My first solo expedition. It was rather nice. We also stopped by the library after the appointment where I paid my fine from the books and cds that didn’t get back in time and checked out a few books I’d put on hold. Ah the wonders of the internet that make it possible to have the books I want waiting for me at the front desk! I love it.
