Bella woke up vomiting in the early hours on Wednesday morning. She had near constant vomiting and diarrhea for the next ten hours until we finally got a prescription for an anti-emetic but she’s still got terrible diarrhea. Now she’s sleeping but still really weak and feverish and absolutely miserable.
I know my Bella girl is really sick when she goes two days without even picking up a book. She watched a couple of videos on the iPad, but even picture books were too much for her.
I’m praying that none of the other kids get sick. I think she picked this up at the first communion on Saturday. Blech.
Praying, Melanie! For her and for the rest of the family.
Ugh, poor girl! I’ll offer up some of our own sick day discomfort (sinus/ear infections here) for her. It’s really scary when they can’t keep anything down.
I will be praying for your little Bella to get better quickly. As a mother of a type 1 diabetic 19 month old, I wanted to share that type one diabetes can present like that of a terrible stomach flu. If she is not improving have her blood sugar checked.
Oh it’s definitely a stomach bug. I know who we caught it from at the first communion celebration last Saturday. And Dom and Anthony have it, too.
