We were eating dinner the other night when we looked up to see the cutest thing: Bella leading a very compliant Sophie by the hand through the house. I especially love how Bella’s incorporated Sophie into an imaginary world, reprimanding her for crossing the street without holding her hand. As for Sophie, I think Sophie’s just glad for the attention from her big sister. When she wakes up from her nap before Bella, Sophie is always so sad.
(Incidentally, I am so glad I can finally edit and post my own videos. My old laptop had gotten so slow I couldn’t download videos from the camera much less upload them. And I certainly didn’t have iMovie. Hooray for great early b-day present!)
delightful! I remember taking you kids to special places to get your hair trimmed before I gave up and started doing it myself…. and you seemed so all-of-a-sudden grown up!!

Bella is so beautiful with her hair down! She reminds me of angels in Renaissance paintings. =)
Thank you. I do love the look of it when it’s down; but I always, always braid it just because it is so much easier to care for. Even when we brush and braid it at morning and evening, I still have to fight so many tangles. I can’t imagine what it would be like if I didn’t keep it braided. I’d probably have to shave her head.
