Sophia is now officially mobile and in full-on explorer mode. I put her down this morning in the dining room when she was done with breakfast. She wandered into the living room and tormented Bella by trying to take all the crayons out of Bella’s coffee table drawer. (I suggested it’s time to find another storage place for them.) Then she followed Bella into the laundry room and spent some time taking food off the pantry shelves. When Bella moved back to the living room, Sophie entertained herself in the kitchen, moving magnets around on the refrigerator and opening and shutting the drawer where we keep the plastic lids.
I am loving this new independence that no longer chains me to a three foot radius around Sophie. Bella, however, is not so thrilled with this younger sister who gets into all her things.
