All this morning Bella has been acting a bit strangely. She keeps holding her saliva in her mouth and refusing to swallow it. Which also means that most of the time she is refusing to talk as well. At times we’ve been able to get her to drink some water and at times she’s gotten involved in playing and seems fine.
I’m baffled as to what could be causing this bizarre behavior. She’s a little congested. Could it be that she’s gt some post-nasal drip that is irritating her throat and making it difficult to swallow? Of course at her age asking her, even if she responds positively, isn’t really very useful. The question itself might skew the results. Does your throat hurt? Yes. Well, it may or may not.
