Last week my sister-in-law said she thought perhaps Sophia was teething. She was very fussy and drooly and chewing on things. But Bella did that for months and months before she ever cut a tooth. So I smiled and nodded and didn’t give it too much thought. Either she was or she wasn’t; only time would tell.
Well, she just woke up from a morning nap and we were playing a bit and she grabbed my finger and put it in her mouth. And as I was rubbing my finger over her gums, I felt something sharp on the lower gum. A tooth is breaking the surface. And it looks like the other lower incisor is right behind it. I guess my sister-in-law was right!
This explains why she was chomping down during her morning nursing. And why she was a bit out of sorts at the party yesterday. I guess we’re going to have to start learning the no biting rule.
What a wonderful idea! Thanks for sharing!
