We went to the pediatrician today. Boy did Isabella scream when I led her into the exam room. Guess she’s got a good memory of those shots.
She has fluid on her ear; but it’s not infected. She was running a fever; but I guess that’s just the cold. Dom’s still sick. He has been feeling terrible for more than a week now: stuffy sinuses, bad cough, chest congestion, aches and pains. I really, really hope Bella gets over it more quickly than he has.
I hope she’s feeling better soon—it really is true that there’s nothing worse than seeing your child sick and not being able to do much about it.

Bella loves The Snowy Day. her favorite part is when the snow plops on top of Peter’s head. She starts plopping her hand on her head two pages before we get there. And then I have to plop my hand on her head as well.
