So on Thursday Bella and I will be off on a grand adventure, travelling to Houston for the wedding of one of my great friends from college. I’m excited to be able to go (made possible by the generousity of my wonderful friends) but a little nervous about flying alone with the baby. (Dom can’t go with us.)
My good friend Stephanie, who is flying in from Seattle, will meet us at the airport and is sharing a hotel room with us. I hope she knows what she’s in for. And I hope Bella isn’t thrown off her schedule too much by the excitement of travel and being in a new place.
We have taken a few short overnights to Maine to visit my mother-in-law; but that was when Bella was much smaller and sleep was just something that sort of happened occasionally.
