Afternoon stories: reading from letter of St Francis Xavier, Doll’s House, St Peter Claver, Around the World in 100 Days, lectionary readings.

Bedtime story: Friendly Gables.

Latkes.

Tuesday December 4

Bella: math, read and narrated Abraham Lincoln’s World

Sophie: math, copywork, French (Duolingo), read Geography)

Then, because the chapter was about Japan and it mentioned earthquakes and homes built to withstand earthquakes, we all watched You tube videos on how they make earthquake-proof skyscrapers.

Ben: math, copywork, Explode the Code, read Little Bear

Anthony: math, copywork, Child’s History

Lucy: phonics flashcards

Afternoon stories: Read about the saint of the day: St John of Damascus. Doll’s House, St Peter Claver, Around the World in 100 Days, North with the Spring, lectionary readings.
