Monday March 28
No school work this morning, though Anthony took it upon himself to copy out the title of his new book and Ben following his lead copied the word “Prismacolor” off the box of colored pencils. Bella did a little copying too, recopying the poem she composed on Saturday into her own notebook.
Afternoon stories: We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea, Faith and Life, My Path to Heaven, Story of the World, The First Christians, Lord of the Rings.

Tuesday March 29
Bella did copywork, an Easter antiphon, and a math page. Sophie did copywork and part of a math page. I did a math lesson with the boys. Ben wrote a few Zs and Anthony read me a Bob book and then copied a sentence on the whiteboard.
We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea, Catechism, The First Christians, Lord of the Rings, St Ignatius of Loyola for Anthony.
Wednesday March 30
Bella went on a poetry kick, pulling out several different books to look at. She read me Longfellow’s Midnight Ride of Paul Revere and several others. She copied part of her Ent poem. Did a math page.
Sophie did two pages in her math book and copy work from her MP book.
Ben and Anthony and I did some math, mostly playing with Cuisinaire rods. Anthony read a Bob book and copied out a sentence on the white board.
We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea, Catechism, The First Christians, Story of the World, Lord of the Rings, St Ignatius of Loyola for Anthony.

Thursday March 31
Grocery day, no table work in the morning.
We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea. Faith and Life. First Christians. St Ignatius of Loyola. Lord of the Rings. A Pooh story, the one about Owl’s house being blown over and Piglet being brave, which was apropos since today was a very blusterous day. High winds and the power flickering all afternoon.
The kids tried to watch Wildest Africa, but with the power going out we lost the internet connection and Netflix was out. So I put on the dvd of The Tempest instead. They watched the first disc.
Friday April 1
I had a doctor appointment, but Sophie did some math and copywork and then did a lot of sketching and watercoloring. And Bella did some math.
Spohie read me a Psalm, too.
We read We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea. Catechism. Story of the World about Gandhi and the movement for Indian independence. First Christians. Lord of the Rings. St Ignatius of Loyola.
Kids watched the Errol Flynn Robin Hood. Bella has been re-reading the H.E. Marshall Robin Hood and comparing the two.
Sophie finished reading a book about St Catherine Laboure and lots of reading the Psalms and other selections in her Bible.

I love Lucy’s icon book. Wherever did you get it? 🙂
My friend Elisa found the fabric and made some books and is selling them at her Etsy store. I don’t know if she’s still got any of the fabric, but the listing is still up, so I guess she might. You should contact here. Here’s the listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/285725967/preorder-twelve-great-feasts-orthodox?ref=shop_home_active_2
