~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~
Pretty is Sophie putting lotion on her legs.
Happy is Anthony. It’s not a great photo, but look at those thighs. He only cries when there’s something wrong. Mostly he laughs and coos and cuddles. And grabs.
Funny is Bella. Recently she’s composed a song about a Jack in the box, which she performs complete with a prop box. It’s a catchy little tune that gets stuck in your head.
The dining room table is always cluttered. Bella’s vase of wildflowers adds a lovely grace note though.
At least this cup wasn’t full of milk when it fell.
The floor pretty much looks like that except for the one day a week I pick everything up to vacuum. Oh well, to everything it’s season, right?
Real. I can’t pick just one shot. I struggle to be content with the chaos since I am currently fighting an uphill battle just to get everyone to sleep at night. Housekeeping has never been my forte, but I do like things to be a bit tidier at least. While nursing a baby I simply don’t have the time and energy to keep everything as tidy as I’d like it to be. The mess gets to me. I’m working on it.
