The girls love to watch football with Dom. It’s a nice way to spend time with daddy. In the past two weeks Bella has told me half a dozen times that she’s had a dream about football.
Sophie refused to nap today because she didn’t want to miss the game. Dom put her down but in less than an hour she was whimpering at the door. We gave up and let her out to watch.
But watching with little girls is a bit… different. Poor Dom has become the patient to these two tender doctors. He’s been poked and dosed and draped with blankets and beads and scarves and ribbons.
Moreover, Bella has a special knack for standing in front of him at the beginning of every play.
