This morning while Sophie napped, Bella and I baked zucchini lemon muffins. I put some Bach on the stereo and we had a lovely time. Bella loves helping me bake and loves eating the muffins when they are done.
Now both girls are taking afternoon naps and I am enjoying a little peace and quiet. The sun shines through the bare branches in the backyard, cheerful and inviting; but I know it’s too cold to really enjoy a stroll.
Mom left to return to Texas this morning. My sister is off to the Registry of Motor Vehicles to switch her driver’s license and get new plates for her car. I’m planning Indian chicken curry, lentils, and cabbage with carrots for dinner tonight.
