Tonight I learned that the lid to my rice cooker is made of safety glass. Or, rather, I should say was made of safety glass. It tumbled off the drainboard and into the sink and shattered on my stoneware muffin pan. Little tiny bits of glass all in the sink and in all the wells of the pan. But at least I know that the lid to the pasta pot sort of fits it. I accidentally used it the other week.
Cool! that’s very good of the publisher…
We devour every John Paul II things we can find…movies, books, documentaries. And it all still makes me cry. I still have a JPII bottle “Pope-aner” in the kitchen, and yep, even that makes me tear up.
I can’t wait to read this book. Even if Bella doesn’t pick me, I am married to a librarian, so it will show up in the house pretty soon.
I’d love to win a copy of this book. I still miss Pope John Paul, who helped me stay Catholic while growing up.
Thank you for offering a chance for a copy of this book. It looks wonderful! Thank you, too, for your wonderful witness to Catholic family life.
It sounds lovely! I’d love to throw my name into the hat. Thanks, Melanie!
Pope John Paul is real special.
His death date is so close to that of the anniversary death date of my Dad t/f that Easter had special meaning to me….
Thank God for having given us such a humane and inspiring Pope!
We will remember him.
Great review…looks like an interesting book. Please add my name to the contest, Melanie! Thanks!
Would love the book, named our first-born son John-Paul. Thanks Melanie!
I’d love to enter the drawing as well. Thank you for doing this!
