Decking the Walls: A Christmas Eve Photo Essay

Decking the Walls: A Christmas Eve Photo Essay

A sunny, warm Christmas eve: snow is on the ground, carols are ringing through the house. We’ve just finished adding the final touches to the house and the tree. Bella is generally doing pretty well about not pulling ornaments off the tree. Dom is making shrimp cocktails and eggnog. I’m chatting with friends and family while I upload photos. Dom’s mother has been released from the hospital and so will be spending Christmas day at home with some of her children and grandchildren.

Merry Christmas to all. May the peace of Christ be with you and your families.

The Christmas tree in all its glory. I still haven’t found a tree topper I like. (Yes, I’m very picky!) In the meanwhile we have a pretty gold ribbon.
