Ah, the first snowfall of the season! It started while we were at the grocery store this morning. We could have held out till tomorrow but I didn’t want to fight the crowds. Even today I noticed more people than I’m used to seeing at 9:30 on a Tuesday morning.
We came out into a nasty, wet snow. Small little flakes almost more sleet or slurry that melted on contact. It was too cold and wet to let Bella play outside when we got home. I gave her some pasta and broccoli and put her to bed. But now that Bella is down for her nap, it’s falling in soft big flakes and starting to stick in the grass and leaves. Figures. It’ll probably be over by the time she wakes up too. Oh well, there will be plenty more opportunities for her to enjoy snow this winter, I’m sure.
