I have a confession to make. On Saturday evening I finished reading In This House of Brede. I read the last third of the book in one afternoon.
In my defense, I had a headache, I was tired. And the book was just too good to put down.
I tried to read slowly, to limit myself to a chapter a day. Really I did. For the first two thirds of the book. And then the need to find out what happens next got the better of me.
I hope to write a review soon. If I can ever get my thoughts untangled. If not, I think the facts speak for themselves. This book is a must-read.
