A Prayer

A Prayer

I found this prayer posted at et tu Jen.

Dear Lord, I do not ask to see the path. In darkness, in anguish and in fear, I will hang on tightly to your hand, and I will close my eyes, so that you know how much trust I place in you, Spouse of my soul.
~ Blessed Mary Elizabeth Hesselblad

  • Dear Melanie, we will pray you through the weekend. I will offer up a novena of Rosaries and Masses for a miracle during the next nine days. God bless you.

  • Hello Melanie,
I saw the prayer request from Evangelical Catholic and Amy and decided to check you out.  I am so sorry to hear what is happening to you.

I am a fellow UDer from the Class of ‘00 and am spreading the word to other UDers.  Have you let the Alumni Office know so they can get the prayer request out?

My family has had our share of trials, including my husband’s cancer, & my advice to all people who are going through a terrible trial, is to praise God.  Sit there and praise Him.  Don’t let your mind delve into the unknown.  There is something about praising Him that brings peace to the soul.

    God Bless You!

  • Melanie, I’m just now catching up and your news knocked me flat. I will be praying for you every single day, you dear thing. I am so very sorry you have to bear this cross. God bless you and keep you. You know you are in the palm of His hand.

  • I was over at Elizabeth Foss’s page and suddenly realized that she was talking about you. Unbelievable. I’ll be praying.
