I seem to recall seeing a few other (women) bloggers talking about the same thing; i.e. they take out their fabrics and just stare at them.
Yeah, and guys are weird for drooling over cars and home electronics and keeping baseball cards.
Well, yeah.
This reminds me of when I was little and a Hindu friend of mine were playing dress up. She let me wear one of the beautiful saris she had brought over when her family moved from India, and I’ll admit I’ve never worn something more beautiful or comfortable since. Like The Anchoress, I’d be too shy to wear one now, but still love to look at them.
I LOVE Indian clothing of all kinds—I especially like the cool pantsuit things with the gorgeous tunic tops. It’s the one kind of ethnic clothing I really wish I could wear….Like you, I’d feel too conspicuous to really do it, but want to!
Me? When I can’t sleep I go to Zappos and look at shoes. Then I post them on the blog and wait for Erik Keilholtz to come and tell me I have a problem.
