Fall is most definitely here.
We had snow last night.
There were still bits left on the grass this morning. Bella had to don coat and hats and boots and mittens and go stomp in it. She clearly remembers the snow ritual from last year. Sophie gladly followed her big sister outside. She wasn’t quite so sure about the snow and wet.
The fall colors are amazing. From my chair I can see red and gold blazing. (Sorry no photos yet.)
Speaking of blazing maples, go read this poem, “Lake and Maple,” that Pentimento posted. Now. Go. Don’t put it off. You deserve a little bit of beauty.
I am suffering severely from ragweed. I suspect a sinus infection and bronchitis. If I don’t have them yet, they will come soon. I have a doctor’s appointment for tomorrow. This part of autumn you can keep.
Ah, those little girls are the cutest.
I’m so sorry you’re sick, Melanie. I’ll remember you in prayer tonight.
Get well soon!
Beautiful!
It is that time of the year. Felicity is sick too. Hope you feel well soon.
I hope you are well soon Melanie. That is a lovely picture of the girls; they will love looking back on pictures like that in a few years time.
Hope you’re feeling better soon! I love pictures like these—they’re so alike and yet so themselves, too.
