Sophia woke us up with a scream at 4:45 this morning. But then she settled into an intermittent moaning that kept me thinking she was going to drop back to sleep at any moment. Finally, I gave in and got her.
Then sometime after I’d nursed her back to sleep and curled up to grab a little more sleep, I had a dream. One of those dreams in which I’m back at school. I was sitting in a classroom as other students filed in and suddenly I realized I was in the wrong class. I had missed my first class and now had to figure out where my second class was.
But what made this dream so different was the excuse I handed to the teacher. I told her I was exhausted because the baby woke me up so early this morning. She smiled understandingly. She was a mother too.
Great news! I’m sure you’re excited and relieved, too.
Congratulations!
Prayers for a smooth transition for all.
Congratulations! Hope your move goes smoothly!
Great news, Melanie! It must be wonderful to buy your first home… No more boxes, no more moving (ideally…)And to think of having Thanksgiving and Christmas there! I hope Isabella and Sophia gave their ok to the house
Giulietta,
This house was actually Isabella’s first choice. It has a swing set w/ slide in the backyard that gets her full approval. She didn’t want to go back into the house after she’d tried the slide.
Congratulations! How exciting!
Congratulations! Post a picture soon!
