Bedtime story: Mitchells Five for Victory.

Tuesday October 16

Anthony: math, copywork, History.

Ben: math, copywork, Explode the Code, Bob book.

Sophie: math, copywork, French

Bella: math, composition, Story of the Church, Latin.

My sister and dad arrived for a two week visit (but one of those weeks is going to be spent leaf-peeping in Maine.)

Miss Happiness and Miss Flower, Magna Charta, St Louis de Montfort, Book of Marvels, lectionary readings.

Bedtime story: Mitchells Five for Victory.

Wednesday October 17

Ben: math, copywork, Explode the Code, began reading Little Bear.

Sophie: math, copywork, French

Bella: math, composition (postcard and a paragraph inspired by a piece of classical music), worked on her timeline book.

Miss Happiness and Miss Flower (finished), Magna Charta, St Louis de Montfort, Story of the Universe (light), Story of the World (Henry V), lectionary readings (really good discussion about them).

Bedtime story: Mitchells Five for Victory.

Sophie told me about her reading: Deuteronomy, a Scarlet Pimpernel novel, and a book about Christian heroes and saints.

Thursday October 18

Anthony: math, copywork, History.

Ben: math, copywork, Explode the Code, Little Bear.

Sophie: math, copywork, French, Geography

Bella: math, Latin.

Little Plum, Magna Charta, St Louis de Montfort, Story of the World (Joan of Arc), North With the Spring, lectionary readings.

Bedtime story: Mitchells Five for Victory.

Anthony and Lucy help scrub vegetables.

Friday October 19

Anthony: math, copywork, History.

Ben: math, copywork, Explode the Code, finished reading What Will Little Bear Wear.

Sophie: math, copywork, French, Geography

Bella: math, composition, narrate Naturalist Buys a Farm

Read: Two library books: Visilisa the Brave and Baba Yaga, The Littlest Matroyshka. Also Little Plum. And that was it because we had gone to the grocery store and library after lunch.

Bedtime stories: Two more library books: The Black Geese, which is another one about Baba Yaga. and then a picture book about a boy who wants to be a shepherd like his father (from Kim Lewis, who is one of Bella’s favorites).
