Sorry to anyone who was looking for this yesterday. We had a busy, busy day. First, I got up and started mixing up our St Lucia bread before I even ate breakfast. Then I vacuumed and tidied. Dom and the kids went to get the tree and came home and set it up. Bella helped with putting up garlands and Dom hung lights. We all went to confession and then came home for an Italian style salami and cheese spread with salads and olives. Then I bathed all the kids and then we ate our Lucia bread. Somehow the learning notes linkup just slipped my mind in all that bustle. I hope everyone who celebrates the feast of St Lucia had a lovely feast.

Your St. Lucy bread looks wonderful! I’d love to see your recipe (we just had cinnamon rolls from a can (-:).
Thanks, Catherine. I use a recipe that Karen Edmisten linked to years ago: http://karenedmisten.blogspot.com/2013/12/st-lucia-bread.html
[…] We’ve been going non-stop lately, and I haven’t read any blog posts in at least a week. Hopefully I can get caught up over Christmas break. I also plan to Read All The Books. Or as many of them as I can. I’ve been too tired to do much of that, either. Anyway, go read about other families at Melanie’s blog! […]
