My how time flies. Today I woke up convinced it was Thursday. But it’s not. Friday, time to put together another little link up party. I was so thrilled at how many people joined in on last week’s get together. I tried to leave comments at everyone’s blog who participated but if I didn’t leave one on yours, I promise it’s not because I didn’t read it and enjoy but because I got distracted and the tab closed and then I forgot about it. Or something like that.
So let’s talk about all the learning that happened or didn’t happen in our families this week. I haven’t finished my learning notes post yet. As usual. But here’s a hint: we’re still doing Shakespeare. I’m working on a post with links to some of the resources we’ve been using, but link posts take time and patience and I keep getting distracted. And it doesn’t help that Lucy is teething and hasn’t been going to sleep until almost ten this week.

My tone in these posts totally doesn’t sound like me to me. But hosting a blog link is still pretty foreign to me. I’m the geeky kid trying to play it cool while everyone in the cafeteria is staring at her. Or something. Imagine a person feeling self conscious and out of place and you get the idea. I’m happy to be hosting, but still trying to figure out who I am hosting a real honest to God link up.
I’m really glad you’re doing this Melanie, as it is helping me to write weekly homeschooling notes, as opposed to monthly, or not at all 🙂 And besides, it’s fun to link up with others right now, and to have a peek at their days.
And I’m glad you’re joining in. It is fun and encouraging, isn’t it?
