I haven’t had much time to write this week. Not only has my dad been visiting, but my computer seems to be having power issues and keeps dying at random intervals. I’ve lost a few emails I was in the middle of composing and one rather long blog post.
Anyway, today this song came up on my iPod and I thought I’d share it because it makes me happy and I thought you might like it too:
I heard Nomos play this song at the North Texas Irish Festival in Dallas many moons ago when I was a college student. I fell in love right then and there and bought the album. It’s still one of my favorites. I just wish more of their stuff was available online.
Here is the link to my write-up of the trip from my blog in 2005.

How very beautiful. We once set off from Virginia to drive to PEI with a 2.5 year old. Only got as far as New Jersey, and she was homesick, and we turned back.
If we ever try again, we’ll fly.
What idyllic pictures!
I CANNOT WAIT to show my husband these pics. He, despite being born in the south and having lived his entire life in NC, has a huge pull toward Nova Scotia and PEI. And I’ve always wanted to see Bar Harbor (and I’m an Anne fan). I think this plan just got moved up on our places we have to visit!
How lovely! Another destination for my wishlist. I would love to see Green Gables. We also got married in August (25th) and spent our honeymoon by Lake Windermere in the Lake District.
I’ve never been to any of those places. They look beautiful! Sounds like a lovely trip. Thanks for posting!
I LOVE this post, Melanie! What amazing photos! You two are so sweet. Thanks for sharing!
