Anthony at 3 Months

Anthony at 3 Months

He sleeps beautifully. When he’s on the play mat and he gets tired, he rolls over on his side, sticks his thumb in his mouth and goes to sleep. None of my other children have been like that.

Also, if he’s asleep in my arms, I can hand him off to Dom or Tree and he usually doesn’t wake up. And vice versa. He sleeps so much more soundly than the others. And I almost thought stories about babies who sleep like this were a myth, they were so far from my experience.

And I can’t think that his cheerful disposition when awake is unrelated. He is the happiest, smilingest, cooingest baby. And ticklish too. He makes everyone feel loved with his huge smile which just lights up his whole face.

Also, he’s huge. I’ve got to go hunt up the 3-6 month clothes because he’s outgrown all the newborn stuff.

I’m completely in love with him.

  • Loved the video!  Great little Saturday morning wake-up.

And your kids?  Always cute, always precious.  Thanks for sharing them!!

  • I’ve been eyeing one of those hill ladders for my little boy! =) Please give us an update in a few months to let us know if it’s been a good toy!  Thanks!

  • Heather,

I had a similar one when I was a girl. Loved it. So when I saw this one in a catalogue I sent the link to my mom. I was not at all upset when my parents asked if they could get it for Bella. Not only is it a great climbing gym, but I loved to drape a sheet over the top and put a blanket on the ground underneath and make it into a tent/playhouse.

Bella was a bit scared at first. Which surprised me. But by the end of the day she was climbing all the way to the top.

  • Hi Melanie,

Thanks for the good report!  I’d never heard of these things until recently, but they look so neat!  I think I will put one on my boy’s Christmas list. =)

I love your blog, btw, although I rarely comment, sorry about that! You have added a lot of great books to my reading list!
