This morning after Mass our parish had the annual May crowning procession, led by the first communicants in their white dresses and suits. Though a cold breeze was blowing, we sttod and prayed and sang Immaculate Mary. Beautiful.
When we got home Sophie was telling Bella all about it. (Bella stayed home sick.) She told her about the statue and singing Immaculate Mary. “And… and… there were a bunch of… PRINCESSES!!!” Little girls in shiny satin dresses with tiaras and veils MUST be princesses.
