Let Us Rejoice and Be Glad

There are so many recent pictures I’ve been meaning to upload… Here’s a start on that.

Holy Saturday was beautiful. We all spent some time in the back yard soaking up rays, swinging in the warm breeze.

  • As you can probably tell from my flurry of comments, I’m catching up on my blog reading and have been spending some time here today. I just wanted to say that the paschal homily of St. John Chrysostom is always read in every Orthodox church on the feast of the Resurrection. I get something different from it every year and the power of hearing it proclaimed in the Church on such a feast brings me to tears every year. There is absolutely nothing more to say about entering into the joy of the feast. Have no misgivings. And thanks be to God the He pours His mercy upon those like me, the last who arrive at the eleventh hour. Keeping the fast or not, the last I am.
