We, too, have noticed that our kids seem to have instant growth spurts after vacations, both mentally and physically. It’s neat to observe, especially when they are little, but also a little bittersweet because they literally come home changed by their experiences. I mean, I guess I come home changed by family vacations, too, but it’s generally a matter of pants fitting too snug again.
I was somewhere on the Internet earlier today and could tell from the way someone addressed me that they thought my name was a pseudonym. Maybe I should start calling myself Dorian “This Is My Real Name And I Am Female” Speed. But that might – might – frighten people off.
Your children are beautiful and I love the photos from Zilker park. Wish we could have gone there, although we certainly had a lovely time, regardless!
It was great to see you all again. Glad the rest of your trip was as enjoyable as the party on Saturday! Every year after the blog party we say to each other, “That was so much fun! I wish we did this sort of thing more often.”
