Crouching Bella, Flying Sophie

Today was perfect high in the low 70s. High winds. Leaves blowing everywhere.

I made bread. We carved a pumpkin. Sophie loved the pumpkin seeds. She ate a spoonful from the bowl when we were carving. She liked them much better though after Dom had roasted them.

Grandma showed up just before dinner delivering a bag full of dress up clothes from Bella’s cousins. Perfect timing!

This afternoon the girls played outside, frolicking in the sun.

Crouching Bella.
What is it about the sand on the sidewalk that fascinates her so?

Flying Bella. The wind was so strong the girls took off and Dom had to catch them.

Flying Sophie.

Two girls intent at their play.

Bella runs.

And runs.

And runs.

Sophie and the blusterous day.

Bella, meet Jack.

Jack and Sophie.

Happy Halloween, everyone. And a very happy birthday to my beloved husband. Hopefully we’ll get to go out to dinner tomorrow….
