Continuing my celebration of spring with more flowers from my very own garden. I just can’t get enough of them. And I thought these shots came out amazingly well.
First, a couple of the yellow tulips, now fully open.
Next, pink tulips. Aren’t they delicate?
We have had so few tulips and daffodils I haven’t wanted to cut any to bring into the house. I wanted them to last as long as possible. The daffodils didn’t make it through Tuesday’s heat wave, the high was 94 I think. However, Bella is in heaven picking all the dandelions that are sprouting up in the lawn. She brings them to me, to Dom, to Sophie. Sophie has discovered that she doesn’t like the taste of dandelions but she still loves to wave them about. Today Bella brought me a huge bouquet and I put them in a mug on my kitchen windowsill. They certainly look sunny next to our basil, don’t they? I’ve always had a huge soft spot for dandelions.
Delightful! reminds me of two other girls sharing Cheerios….
