Dear Grandma,
I was having a rough afternoon and mama couldn’t figure out what I wanted, why I was crying, and how to help.
Then the mail came and with it my birthday present.
You may think it was late; but I think it was perfect timing. God knew when I’d need a new toy to distract me.
The perfect thing to put a smile on my face!
I love my new baby owl finger puppet! It looks great on my head!
One of the books mama gave me for my birthday is about three baby owls named Sarah and Percy and Bill. Next time you come to visit you can read it to me and help me to play with my new puppet.
I miss you, Grandma.
