I just noticed that the back of Sophia’s pudgy little calf is gouged and scraped and scratched. I can only guess that she’s been cutting herself with her toenails. I suppose I need to do better with trimming them, though they didn’t seem especially long.

I know what you mean. Every time I read a book review, I add the book to my Amazon wishlist. Then when I get a gift certificate to Amazon it’s agony trying to decide which of the many books to get. (I try not to buy new books unless I have a gift certificate, it’s the only way to control my addiction.)
