Every Eye in the Place

I don’t think I’ve ever before walked through a room and literally had every eye turn to follow me. Guess that’s what happens when you bring the three week old baby out to dinner. Taking her to the bathroom to change her diaper at the end of the meal (she slept blissfully in her seat until the very end, such a good girl), I had at least three people ask how old she is and saw the question in a dozen other faces. Proud mommy that I am, I didn’t mind the attention at all.

Wow.  Thanks for posting this.  I’ve never encountered it before.  Updike was more sure of things than Frost, no?

I’m so glad you posted this, Melanie. I read it around Easter, too, and meant to post it and forgot. Beautiful, isn’t it?

I am so glad you like it. I was really blown away especially that fist stanza with the cells molecules and amino acids… Too beautiful not to post!
