Her temperature is back down, her labs came back fine, though she’s a little “dry” with elevated sodium levels. So they’re putting her on an iv drip overnight, just to rehydrate her. I’ll go up to the neonatal care unit to nurse when she gets hungry. (At least I’m pretty mobile now so that won’t be a big deal.) They’ll re-check her labs in the morning and we’ll hopefully still be able to be discharged tomorrow.
DEO GRATIAS!!!
Rest well, Melanie. Relax and enjoy your precious family!
(And take it as easy as you can, please, you need to recover.)
Welcome home!
The best night’s sleep I’ve had in years was the one at home after two nights in the hospital.
Nurse, rest, read to Bella. Repeat. Oh, and change a diaper or two.
And they lived happily ever after.
Or possibly, “Wisdom has set up her house.”
Welcome home, Melanie and Sophia
Congratulations to you, Dom and Bella on the arrival of your newest family member. Welcome to the world, Sophia!
Glad to hear that you are all well and at home. Enjoy (and rest!
