Today an extra-special treat. We met grandma at mass and then she came to our house for breakfast. While daddy was flipping pancakes, Bella shared some of her favorite books with grandma. Then, after breakfast, she shared some more. Poor grandma, I think she was getting hoarse! But Bella sure loved all the attention and was in a sparkling mood for the rest of the day even after grandma left. (Once she got over crying about not getting to go with her.)
I know so exactly what you mean. The mug is a wonderful idea.
The Anniversaries are always sad.
But I also think it is so good to mourn because it is a recognition that someone lived even for a very short time.
