Please pray for Carrie Tomko, battling cancer and despair.
Carrie is one of the many victims of the scandal in the Church. Her faith has been seriously wounded and she’s at the point of being so discouraged by the evil she sees in the Church that she’s in danger of losing her faith altogether. She’s recently announced that she’s giving up blogging; but I think she’s also close to giving up fighting. She’s also under attack in her comment boxes, many people using her blog as a battle ground and under the guise of friendly encouragement urging her to leave the Church. She needs our prayers desperately, our encouragement and support.
Just please, if you leave a comment on her blog, don’t get involved in the battles. I think that’s counterproductive.
