An extra hour of sleep? Well, surprisingly, yes. Though that was a bit negated by the fact that Bella was pretty restless starting at two am and never did let herself be put back into her own bed after that. But I’ll take what I can get. She did let us lounge in bed until 7.
But I’d trade off the extra hour in bed, even pre-Bella when it really did mean more sleep, I’d trade it in a heartbeat if the sun didn’t start to go down at 4:30 once we put the clocks back. It is just so gloomy to look out the window and see darkness when once there was light.
As if it weren’t hard enough for me to get out of the house for a wlak every day. Now those late afternoon hours are swallowed up entirely and there’s an even smaller window of opportunity.
