Blogging has been light this week in part because I’ve been so busy.
Lots of errands have been run, cleaning has been done. Yesterday afternoon we watched our niece and nephew while my sister-in-law went for her ultrasound. (Which meant yesterday morning we did a quick house cleaning.)
One major milestone reached this week (though I can no longer recall which day): Bella went out for the first time in the stroller sitting up/ facing forward rather than in the carrier attachment facing me. She seemed to love being able to see more of the world, though I missed looking into her face as we walked. She especially loved it when we ran into my friend Jennifer’s husband and their two kids at the park. She laughed and laughed at Luc’s antics (he’s about three I think) as he danced and laughed at her.
I feel a great sense of accomplishment. I’m also very tired. We had a run of nights in which Isabella woke up more than usual, a couple in which she was very fussy and I got little sleep. Last night she returned to her previous routine and I have great hopes for tonight. But it all caught up with me this afternoon and I had a heck of a migraine and had to take a nap in a darkened room. Fortunately that plus a couple of excederin seemed to knock away the worst of it. Though I’m still feeling some aftereffects. Hopefully I won’t experience the backlash from the caffeine which kept me up all night last time that happened.
Anyway, I have some new pictures I’ll hopefully post soon. Including some great ones of Isabella sitting up by herself. Some more videos too, but those might take a bit longer to get up as Dom is looking at some busy days coming up.
Anyway, I think I’m going to call it an early night now. I’ve been up since six and my nap was curtailed by a hungry little girl. I’d better get some snoozing in now in case she decides to have another restless night. As tired as Dom is, I’m not sure he’ll be able to rescue me like he did the other night (my hero!)
