A reader passes along an article about homeschooling and socialization that follows well after my previous post. He and his wife have just had their first child and like Dom and myself want to homeschool and are in the process of learning about all things homeschooling.
The author of this piece is single and childless but knows already that he wants to homeschool his children when he has them.
It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who wants to start gathering information this early. So many of the homeschooling materials I read seem to imply that the authors decided to homeschool only after their children had been in schools. Very little is directed to people who plan on homeschooling from the start.
