Monday April 2
No school today. It was snowing so we stayed home, the kids played, I gave myself a holiday, too, and spent the day reading in bed.
Tuesday April 3
Oops. I forgot to take notes. I’m pretty sure we did a full day of school; but my memory is hazy.
Wednesday April 4
Bella woke up in the night vomiting.
Anthony: math, copywork
Ben: math, Explode the Code
Sophie: math, copywork, French, composition
Lucy read one and a half Bob books with me.
No afternoon stories.
Bedtime: Castle in the Air.
Thursday April 5
Everyone did math but Bella.
Grocery store.
Afternoon stories: The White Stag, St Margaret Mary, Alfred the Great.
Lucy had a fever and took an afternoon nap, not very like her at all.
Friday April 6
Sick day.
Watched the first episode of Les Grandes Grandes Vacances, a French cartoon mini series about two children who leave Paris to stay with their grandparents in Normandy during WW2.
Afternoon stories: The White Stag, St Margaret Mary, Augustus Caesar’s World, Alfred the Great, Virtues in Practice.
Bedtime story: Egyptian Diary.
