I’ve got em. In spades.
Now I know it’s spring because one night last week I woke up in the middle of the night not because of the usual pregnancy full bladder feeling but because my chest felt congested. The next night I had nasal congestion and within another couple of days the full blown hacking cough and nasal drip had emerged. Now my diaphram is sore to the point where I beg Dom not to say anything funny because laughing hurts as much as coughing. I’m sure the fact that the baby is attacking my diaphram from the other direction doesn’t help much either.
I love spring and I hate it.
Poor Dom was being kept awake last night by my coughing and moaning (didn’t realize I was doing that) and retreated to the spare room in a surprising reversal—previously I’ve fled his snoring.
I just hope this all clears up before I go into labor. Cause dealing with contractions and this cough is more than I think I can bear.
